I have been involved with monetizing my websites ever since I built them. I found out that when you include Google Adsense ads at the right locations on your website; you will naturally organically generate an additional stream of income going straight to your bank account. However if you post ads on your website' main page it will look like you are desperate to make money. 
Today I will share with you how you can start making money online without spending a PENNY!

The first impression your visitors have when they visit your site matters the most. It will determine if they will visit again or not. In most cases your visitors will not like seeing ads from Google or any other ads splashed all over your index page. It does no matter how relevant they may be to the content of your site. 1) Apply for an Adsense account from Google. This is free to apply and  Adsense is pretty much the most known EASY & FREE way to monetize your website. You may have heard of stories of people earning  a huge additional income with Adsense alone.  These stories are mostly true yet; the internet and ways to use it evolve fast so you need more people (leads) to visit your site to expect clicks that will translate into a check in the mail.  

You will need to qualify to open an Adsense account. They will ask for all your information including address Tax ID; EIN or social Security #. You will even be required to enter your bank account information. As an affiliate you are supposed to give these information FREELY to trusted companies. This is the only way you can be paid and Google wants to know that they are paying a human.  Your application can take more than 2 days to be processed less if you are rejected... To help your application process; open a Youtube account; create an account on Blogger.com. Blogger and Youtube are both owned by Google so use the same Gmail email you used to open your blogger and youtube accounts when you signup for Adsense.                                        

Those who want to build a website can also signup for a FREE Weebly account. Weebly  integrates Adsense. Google will likely accept your application when you signup for Adsense using a product they own or are in partnership with.
     
Once you are accepted start adding your Adsense units ads on your blog and websites. You might want to buy a domain name if you are trying to brand yourself or need to build product awareness. Domain names can be pretty cheap.

Then you will receive a follow up email with explanation on how to start right away making money as an affiliate.
